Unlicensed One Man Company

The company is legally registered in Lithuania under the name Astlinda UAB. Their headquarters address is Žalgirio g. 90-100, LT-09303 Vilnius, with the registration number 305929218.

However Astlinda UAB nature of business is stated as “Provider of financial consulting services”, and not a cryptocurrency exchange service. We found out that neither Astlinda UAB nor their cryptocurrency exchange platform EasyCrypto4U are licensed to provide crypto related services. This is evident from the LB database.

It didn’t take long for the authorities to notice this blatant disregard for the law. The AMF and CSA blacklists have recently been updated to include Astlinda UAB and EasyCrypto4U. Registrars of other regulators like FCA, BaFIN, ASIC, FSCA and FINMA don’t contain any license info about these firms.

Cryptocurrencies are very volatile financial assets, even more so than Forex, for instance. Unregulated companies that do not adhere to regulation put their clients’ finances at higher risk.

Clients of such firms can’t rely on negative balance protection, or segregated bank accounts. There’s also the added risk that the company can become insolvent and go under, or simply steal the money.

How This Crypto Scam Functions

The internet is flooded with fake reviews about the EasyCrypto4U platform. The scam was first launched in 2021, and it immediately started targeting the demographic of these nations:

  • Canada
  • Spain
  • France
  • United Kingdom
  • Germany

It has become a common occurrence for fraudulent firms like EasyCrypto4U and Investo Capital FX to try and bolster their reputation with content advertising campaigns. People who write these fake reviews are known as review seller networks.

In addition, the expanded company registrar of Lithuania has shown us that EasyCrypto4U is a one-man company. These sorts of firms being a fraud is a rule of thumb, due to the inherent complexities of running a cryptocurrency exchange operation.

Furthermore, it has come to our attention that EasyCrypto4U is using boiler room agents to solicit their services via phone, email and social networks.

EasyCrypto4U Paid Reviews

Here is what the people have to say about EasyCrypto4U:

“ Without being asked for an improved investment, I made just enough to experience the system, and I was then shown how to deposit and withdraw money. I’ve written them two emails. My request for a withdrawal was also ignored by them. […] “

Extremely High Fees

The Terms and Conditions document on EasyCrypto4U is somewhat transparent when it comes to different fees. These fees are far from cheap, however.

Buying crypto coins on the platform incurs a 12% fees, and sale is charged 5%. In the industry, these are called Maker and Taker fees, and are usually lower than 0.1%. This does not include the exchange fee on EasyCrypto4U, which the company does charge at an undisclosed rate.

Additionally, any unsuccessful transaction that results in a refund will incur a $50 fee. The company also claims to collect taxes on behalf of the government, which is illegal in many jurisdictions.

Problems With Lack Of Transparency

Much of the key information about how the entire crypto exchange functions is omitted from public view on easycrypto4u.com. It’s another fraudulent strategy – make the victim deposit before they know what they’re getting into.

Unfortunately, we were prevented from creating an EasyCrypto4U login and testing the trading environment first hand. Account creation requires both email and SMS verification, and we never received the SMS code on multiple attempts.

Unknown Trading Platform

We could not access the trading floor without an actual EasyCrypto4U login. The company claims their application to offer “Security and Peace of Mind”, but that’s what all scammers do.

It is unclear which trading platform the EasyCrypto4U scam implements. One thing is certain, though: EasyCrypto4U does not have a discrete mobile app.

Hidden Trading Assets

Trading assets that are available with this so-called crypto exchange are not very numerous. EasyCrypto4U advertises access to 60+ different crypto coins to trade. This is laughable compared to industry average.

You see, the majority of reliable and reputable crypto exchanges offer tens of thousands of different cryptocurrencies for trade.

Here are a few examples we found on the site, with no additional information:

  • Cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, Cardano, Solana)

Undisclosed Account Types

It seems as if there is only a single trading account on EasyCrypto4U. When we attempted to create an account, however, we did not receive the required SMS validation.

EasyCrypto4U doesn’t disclose any account parameters, like the amount of dormancy fees, or different premiums. The firm doesn’t feature a demo account either.

Issues With EasyCrypto4U Withdrawal

EasyCrypto4U claims to offer a number of different financial channels for asset withdrawal. Bank Cards like Visa and MasterCard are advertised, and an E-Wallet named Interac.

Many of the platform users complain that EasyCrypto4U doesn’t allow them to withdraw. Should you encounter any difficulties with EasyCrypto4U withdrawals yourself, you can rely on our chargeback experts for help.

Unreachable Customer Support

There is no way to effectively contact customer service at EasyCrypto4U. Although there is a phone number and a support email, nobody responds to calls and messages. The only other method is the contact form.

It seems that working with EasyCrypto4U is a one-sided deal. They can pester you for more purchases endlessly, but you can’t call them back.
